About Us: At Fireflies, we’re not your run-of-the-mill rule-followers. We’re dream-weavers, change-makers, and innovators. Fireflies is a youth-focused organization on a mission to inspire change and ignite innovation in the Kasaragod district of Kerala, India. Our mission is to prevent crime, addiction, and mental breakdowns among youth. We work on a wide range of projects, from skill development workshops to community outreach programs and youth empowerment events. Our goal is to inspire innovation and cultivate a brighter future for the next generation.

The Role: As a Program Lead, you’ll be at the forefront of transforming dreams into deeds and ideas into impact. You will:

  • Manage our ongoing projects, from youth skill development to community outreach.
  • Turn ideas into reality, using your creative energy to implement innovative solutions.
  • Lead and inspire a team of fellow dream-weavers, nurturing talent and fostering a collaborative spirit.
  • Collaborate with partners, building bridges and creating change together.
  • Ensure the wise utilization of our resources, masterminding efficient project execution.
  • Craft excellence in everything you do, striving for nothing less.

Other specific tasks: You’ll lead initiatives that empower young minds, such as:

  • Skill development workshops
  • Community outreach programs
  • Youth empowerment events
  • Research and advocacy
  • Social media campaigns
  • Developing and implementing new programs and initiatives

Qualifications and Requirements: We value passion and raw potential as our primary qualifications. You should have confidence and skill in reading and writing English, with driving skills considered a bonus. While specific qualifications are not mandatory, familiarity with project management methodologies and software programs is a plus.

Probation Period: The contract for this role is for one year. The initial three months will serve as a mutual adjustment period, allowing both you and our team to understand each other better.
