Our journey began in 2018 at the Central University of Kerala in Kasaragod, where a group of like-minded individuals came together. United by a shared vision, we initiated volunteer activities, and the impact on the young people in our community was undeniable. This realization fueled our determination to continue and evolve.
Today, our unwavering focus is on supporting the youth of Kasaragod, empowering them to uncover their hidden talents and capabilities. We firmly believe that within every young individual lies immense potential, waiting to be discovered and nurtured. With unwavering passion, we strive to make a positive difference and shape a brighter future for the youth we serve.
How did we Started?
Our journey began in 2018 when we started organizing volunteer activities as a group. As we witnessed the impact of our efforts on the young people in our community, we knew we were onto something special. Through trial and error, perseverance, and sheer determination, we continued to evolve.
Today, our focus remains unwavering. We are committed to supporting the youth of Kasaragod and helping them unlock their full potential. The Fireflies Naming Story
Just like fireflies, each young person has a unique glow within them.
At Fireflies, we chose our name because it represents the essence of our work with youth. Just as fireflies bring light and hope into the darkness, we believe in nurturing and empowering young individuals to overcome challenges and shine brightly in their lives. Through guidance, support, and opportunities, we help prevent them from falling into negative influences such as extremism, drugs, and crime.
Our name serves as a symbol of inspiration, reminding us that within every young person lies the potential for positive transformation and the power to illuminate the world with their inner light.
